Bocchar, ăris (in MSS. also Boc-chor, ŏris), m., a king of Mauritania at the time of the second Punic war, Liv. 29, 30, 1; cf. id. 29, 32, 1.—Hence, poet. for an African, in gen., Juv. 5, 90.
